Specific Heat of Brass
Experiment Overview: Determination of Specific Heat of Brass
This highly realistic virtual laboratory experiment allows a brass weight to be placed in boiling water. After about four or five minutes it will be heated evenly to the temperature of the water. It can then be moved to the water in the calorimeter. It will then heat the water and the calorimeter and you can monitor the change in temperature. The user is free to move anywhere within the laboratory in order to interact with the apparatus.
